Challenges Facing the Military and Government

Military and government agencies frequently need immediate situational awareness in various situations, including surveillance operations, disaster response, and border security.

Efficient data gathering and analysis play a vital role for these agencies, necessitating cutting-edge equipment with advanced sensors and payload options capable of collecting various data types like aerial imagery, thermal imaging, LiDAR, and multispectral data.

Military and government agencies face an increasing challenge in terms of security concerns related to the potential for drones to be hacked, misused, or weaponized by malicious actors.

Custom Drone Solutions for the Military and Government

Mapping

Drones are vital in enhancing military operations whether they are used to gather data and information so experts can make informed decisions or used to conduct operations that directly save lives and property.

Draganfly drones are unarmed military UAVs that are used for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR). Our drones are used for real-time, secure, aerial intelligence across a wide range of mission-critical applications from clandestine tactical missions, to search and rescue operations, to critical infrastructure inspections and more.

Communications

Draganfly drones are used to set up temporary communication networks for areas with weak or non-existing communication networks or large changes in elevation or obstacles. Draganfly drones are equipped with communication equipment and flown over an area to provide temporary connectivity for various purposes, including disaster response, search and rescue operations, and remote industrial operations.

Tactical Delivery

During time-sensitive missions or active emergency, medical and disaster response situations, Draganfly’s drones can make the difference. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) help crews reduce response times, improve situational awareness and increase overall efficiency.

Our delivery drones are able to ensure the timely delivery of equipment, machinery and temperature-sensitive medical supplies into dangerous or hard-to-reach areas

Surveillance and Reconnaissance

Draganfly Surveillance and Reconnaissance drone systems are ready to perform advanced autonomous functions while operating in obstacle-rich environments. An aerial perspective with GPS-denied flight capabilities, day and nighttime collision avoidance, and agile flight control make for an ideal solution for monitoring high-risk situations where decisions need to be made quickly.

“Draganfly’s proven leadership working with global military and government agencies has allowed us to scale and rapidly deploy important technology solutions. As we move forward, drones and autonomous technology will continue to be an increasingly important part of ensuring public safety.”
